What It’s About: Siblings Claudia and Jamie Kincaid run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to escape domestic problems. Once there, they uncover the truth behind a marble statue of an angel.

Why I Love It: I remember reading this book for the first time in Elementary School. I loved the idea of escaping to a museum. A place like the Met is filled with excitement and adventure (not to mention endless reading). It took me years to re-discover this book, but once I did, I was pleased. I just wish this book got the attention it deserves.
