I have heard Pearl Jam’s song “Last Kiss” multiple times throughout my life. I’ve always like it, but the song took on significance when I started writing my novel. It was like Pearl Jam perfectly illustrated one of the most critical scenes in my novel. As I listened to the song, I imagined my characters and the feeling was so vivid that it brought me to tears.

“Last Kiss” is a song I can imagine of the soundtrack to my novel. It perfectly encapsulates the mindset of my male protagonist and what haunts him. It’s an excellent example of storytelling and I think you should all check it out.
