Hello everyone! It’s officially May. Summer is just around the corner and a new month means a fresh start on writing. I am happy to announce that I finished writing chapter 12 yesterday. However, upon finishing the chapter, I realized that I had miscalculated the chapter counter. There will be fourteen chapters, not thirteen. I am not adding anything to the story, but just breaking up which events appear in which chapter. I need one more to wrap it up. So the road to the Act 1 finish line just got a little longer, but I can still see that light. It’s there in the distance, glowing brighter.

In last week’s update, I told you guys that I was writing some six-word stories and sending them out on submission. I sent the stories out to seven different publications and have been rejected by one so far. I am planning on submitting the stories to a few more publications. I will let you know how that goes.

I am planning on starting chapter 13 tomorrow and finishing it at some point in the week. The process for writing chapter 12 was a complete joy because my protagonists met and were finally able to talk to one another. I am looking forward to further developing their relationship.
