Hello everyone! Today is November 5th, day five of NaNoWriMo. I continued to work on chapter 2. Much like chapter 1, this chapter has given me much difficulty in how to portray the events. Once I get rolling with my writing, it’s usually easier to see a chapter to it’s completion. However, chapter 2 has not been an easy endeavor. I spent so much time perfecting chapter 1 that it has made it quite difficult for chapter 2 to match up.

It doesn’t help that chapter 2 is very emotional and dramatic. There are important conversations that need to be had in order to move the story forward and for our protagonist to make certain decisions later on in the narrative. So I need to tread with caution when it comes to writing chapter 2. Hopefully, by this weekend, I will have the chapter complete.
