Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the dog days of summer. I have been trying to squeeze every last ounce of fun out of these waning days. I have been hard at work on my novel and recently completed Chapter 8. Although it was originally my intention to finish Act 1 earlier this month, I have decided that it is more important to make the writing good than to rush it for the sake of getting it done. It is my desire that, for my next update, I will be able to announce that I have completed Act 1.

I did not update last week because I was out of town for a wedding. This next week should be much quieter and, if all goes well, I should be able to knock out a chapter every day until I am done with Act 1.
