Hello everyone! Today is November 3rd, or the third day of NaNoWriMo. I am coming at you with an update for yesterday, November 2nd.

I finally managed to knock out Chapter 1! I have been struggling with writing Chapter 1 for a while now, going back and forth between different versions. I decided to fuse them together and, overall, I am pretty happy with the result. I know that I will have to revise it eventually, but it works well at the moment.

Now that I have the launching pad for my novel squared away, I can focus on working my way through the rest of Act 1. I am hoping to get chapters 2 and 3 done by Friday.

Even though I am not following the NaNoWriMo rules too closely, I have managed to earn a few badges since NaNoWriMo started on Monday. Here is a screenshot from my dashboard:

I am hoping to at least start chapter 2 today. I’ll let you know how that goes.
